Halloween Inspiration: Cleopatra

I have a feeling Egyptian themed clothing and accessories are going to be big in the upcoming years.  I thought with the red lip and cat eye being so prominent this season what better than to be Cleopatra for Halloween.  Also because it would be a cute couple's costume me being Cleopatra and Fernando being a Pharaoh or King Tut. :) As I was looking for inspiration, I stumbled upon a few pictures of my style inspiration and muse, Blake Lively! Ok... we were totally meant to be friends! Loving all the headpieces, jewelry, draped maxi dresses and makeup.

Last night one of my fellow stylists, Alysha, and I got away from the stress of the office to network with some fellow fashionites (fashion socialites). The H'orderves were enticing but the dresses and conversation were even more enticing.  I'm definitely going to look into renting my next special event dress from

Bunker Hill Fashion Issue Launch Party

So one of the shoot's I styled for photographer Jonah Gilmore got picked up by Bunker Hill magazine.  Attended their launch party last night at Ground Floor Art Gallery in downtown LA and got a chance to meet and mingle with some amazing fellow fashion industry professionals as well as a few talented artists.
